Actuation test 30 Select item No. 30 of the MUT-II Actuator Test. NOTE This holds the ISC servo at the basic step to adjust the basic idle speed. (i guess 8 steps) Check the idle speed. Standard value: 700 ± 100 r/min 30 Basic idle speed Set ISC servo to basic step Engine idle speed Stepper motor approx. 8 steps
ON-VEHICLE SERVICE THROTTLE BODY (THROTTLE VALVE AREA) CLEANING
- Start the engine and warm it up until the coolant is heated
- Remove the air intake hose from the throttle body.
- Plug the bypass passage inlet (arrow) of the throttle body.
- Spray cleaning solvent into the valve through the throttle
- Start the engine, race it several times and idle it for about
- If the throttle valve deposits are not removed, repeat
- Unplug the bypass passage inlet.
- Attach the air intake hose.
- Use the MUT-II to erase the diagnosis trouble code.
- Adjust the basic idle speed. (Refer On Vehicle Service.)
